The year is already off to a busy and exciting start at Clinton & Reed. This month, we had the pleasure of welcoming several of our Paris-based clients to the American Club of Paris’ monthly cocktail gathering. In each edition of our newsletter, we’re delighted to introduce you to a member of our team sharing the passions, experiences, and stories that make our community so special. For this first feature, we are pleased to spotlight one of our Account Managers, Ms Jackie Coghlan. Having grown up in rural Connecticut, Jackie set her sights on France from an early age. Her dream was to work with Jacques Cousteau—her biggest motivation to learn French. She first arrived in 1984–85 as part of UConn’s Junior Year Abroad program in Normandy and returned to Europe permanently in 1988. It was in fact Jackie's passion for the sea and diving that initially brought her to Europe. Eventually she shifted directions which turned into an impressive career spanning more than three decades in administrative roles at a leading global law firm. Along the way, Jackie has lived in Ireland, Spain, Greece, and Luxembourg, yet France has remained her favourite place to call home. An avid traveller, she spends much of her free time discovering new destinations, especially those by the sea, a lifelong connection that continues to shape both her personal and professional journey.

Upcoming Events

For our inaugural edition, we are delighted to highlight the American Club of Paris, a longstanding institution and a valuable resource for many of our American clients seeking meaningful connection in Paris.
Toward the end of February, the Club will host another of its signature Left Bank Happy Hours, along with a gathering in the historic Marais for those based on the Right Bank at the beginning March. Both events provide an excellent opportunity to meet fellow members, experience the Club’s welcoming atmosphere, and discover whether membership is right for you.
